Fun afternoon singing and dancing to Jack Hartmans greatest hits and a few new ones!  Two of our friends even made it on stage with Jack!  

100th Day-January 27th

We had a fun day celebrating the 100th day!  We had different centers to celebrate the number 100 as well and a 100 year old photo booth.  The cutest 100 year olds I've seen!!  😊

Pledge!

We had our 1st 2 students go say the pledge over the loud speaker in the office this morning!  Calli for 25 AR points and Morgan for passing all addition facts in a flash! We are really starting to hit our stride with both programs.  Keep encouraging your kiddos to read daily at home and have them practice their math facts.  Looking forward to lots more getting to do this in the future!!  

Arctic Animals

We had a great day wrapping up our unit of arctic animals (penguins and polar bears).  We experimented with "blubber", finished up our informational writing, and created penguins out of different shapes. It was a fun day!  

Snowy Day Pointillism

We learned about the artist Seurat last week.  The kids enjoyed learning about his art and his original technique of using little tiny dots to create a picture.  After learning about this artist and technique, and seeing some of his famous paintings.  The kids created their own painting using this famous technique.  We all love how they turned out.  

Snowy Day Word Groups

We came up with a list of snowy day words as a class.  The next day, I gave them paper to put the words into smaller groups.  They did AWESOME!!
