Measurement fun!

We did a lesson on non-standard measurement. The kids got to team up and measure around the room. We had a blast!

We are in the next stage...chrysalis!! Yay! The kids will be so excited!

We observed our caterpillar today, watched a video about its life cycle and documented our observations in our journals. This is going to be an excited 3 weeks!!!

Seussical Good Time

We had a special snack of Seuss juice and cat in the hat sweet treat! Here is some pictures of our fun!!! If your kids come home with blue hair and saying rhymes...blame it on the Seuss juice;).

One of the kiddos shared what she has learned about good nutrition and even shared a healthy snack, apple chips! Yummy! :).

Day 2...guest readers, fish math, and much more!!

We had another exciting day celebrating our love for reading and Dr. Seuss! We had a guest reader, Mrs. Richards from the office came and read to us. She read a silly story called Rachel's Ponytail. We learned how important it is to be yourself and not a copycat. Is was also silly sock day.

We also read One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. We created math sentences using goldfish in honor of this book.

We ended our day eating some of those yummy goldfish and watching Dr. Seuss is on the Loose. Another fun day!! :)

Read Across America!!!
