Pumpkin Patch Information

Tomorrow is our first field trip...to the pumpkin patch!  Yay!!  Here are some reminders and directions if you are coming with your child.  These will both be coming home with your child if you let me know you were coming on the trip with us.  Thank you! 

Reading is Fun!

We have already had lots of student readers!  It's so exciting to see their excitement for reading grow each day!  It's a fun part of the day to just relax and listen to some great books.  

Apple Week

We celebrated fall beginning with lots of fun m with apples.  We talked about Johnny Appleseed and how caring and resourceful he was.  We learned the different parts of an apple along with how apple trees look throughout the seasons. To close our week out, we made some yummy mini caramel apples.  It was another great week of growing and learning in 1st grade!
