Nature's Nightlife

We had a visit from some nocturnal animals Thursday. We were all excited to see all the cool nocturnal animals.

Butterflies just in time for spring!!

We have two butterflies that have emerged from their chrysalis yesterday. We are so excited and spent much of the day observing them drying out their wings yesterday. The beauty of nature is incredible!

Getting ready for our bird performance on Friday and after spring break at our fine arts night. We are learning a dance and we have fun surprise the night of the show in April so don't miss it!

Butterfly Garden

We have moved to the final stage....butterfly garden!!! We can't wait for them to emerge! Next step, making the "nectar" for them to eat.

YAM time!

We learned about cardinals, a bird found here in Alabama. The kids each made their own cardinals.

Measurement fun!

We did a lesson on non-standard measurement. The kids got to team up and measure around the room. We had a blast!

Butterfly update!

We are in the next stage...chrysalis!! Yay! The kids will be so excited!
